Parking

Parking is FREE for Museum members and $5 for nonmembers. Well-lit, guarded lots are available on Grove Place behind both the main Museum building and the University of Toledo Center for the Visual Arts, as well as on Parkwood Avenue adjacent to the Glass Pavilion.

A major exhibition drawn from art collections around the world, Manet: Portraying Life features both Edouard Manet's formal portraiture and his scenes of family and friends in the context of everyday life. Organized in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Arts in London, TMA will be the exclusive U.S. venue for the show.

Last spring, hundreds of Toledo Museum of Art community members of all ages-visitors, supporters, volunteers, staff-stopped in to have headshots taken to be included in the exhibition. This collective portrait of our community will be installed in a floor-to-ceiling "salon hang in Gallery 1 off Libbey Court.

Toledo native Leslie Adams is nationally known for her detailed portraits. The first recipient of the Solo Exhibition Award of the Toledo Area Artists Exhibition in 2011, Adams presents a new body of approximately 20 autobiographical works that feature some of the people and places-including the Toledo Museum of Art-that have shaped her career and life.
